Does every AI track need mastering?

No. Some generators already deliver controlled loudness and peaks. The free scan measures first, then shows whether your track has anything useful to gain, lose or repair.

What can the master improve?

Tonal balance, clipped peaks, dynamics, stereo focus, loudness and true-peak safety can all be prepared for release. The same measured rules apply to generated songs and recorded music.

What does it not claim to fix?

Mastering cannot rewrite a performance, arrangement or lyric, and sound alone cannot prove which tool made a track. A generator is named only when the file declares it.

Questions

Which AI music generators work with PolishMyTrack?
Any service or local model that exports WAV, MP3, OGG, M4A or FLAC works. PolishMyTrack reads the exported file; it does not need access to your generator account.
How do I master an AI-generated track?
Export the highest-quality file available, drop it here, read the report, then press Master. Hear the real release-level result first, then turn on Level matched for a fair tonal comparison before downloading WAV.
Do you upload my music?
No. Audio is decoded and processed in your browser by a background worker. Your file stays on your machine; after the page loads, mastering does not require a server.
Can you really tell if a track is AI-generated?
Only when the file explicitly says so. Without declared metadata, clipping, spectral lines and frequency cutoffs are too ambiguous to present as proof of origin.
Will mastering make my AI track sound human?
Mastering can improve tonal balance, stereo focus, dynamics, peaks and delivery level. It cannot rewrite the performance or arrangement.
What loudness should I aim for?
There is no single number for every track. The scan measures energy and suggests a musical target, then pairs it with a safe true-peak ceiling.
Can I use the masters commercially?
Yes. Check the terms of the tool that generated the music for rights on the composition; mastering does not change those rights.
