Terms of Service

Last updated 20 August 2026

These terms govern your use of PolishMyTrack. Using it means you accept them.

Who you are contracting with

PolishMyTrack is operated from Sweden. Contact: support@polishmytrack.com.

Paid plans are sold through Stripe acting as merchant of record, so your payment contract is with Stripe, which handles billing, tax and the receipt. These terms still govern how you may use the software.

The service

PolishMyTrack analyses an audio file and applies a mastering chain to it, entirely within your browser. We do not receive, store or process your audio on any server.

Your music stays yours

You keep every right you already had in the audio you process and in the mastered result. We claim no licence, no ownership and no usage rights over your material — we could not, since we never receive it.

Acceptable use

You may use the service for personal and commercial work, including music you sell. You may not:

Free and paid tiers

Part of the service is free and needs no account. Paid features are unlocked by a licence tied to a randomly generated recovery code created on your device. That code is your licence — if you lose it and have no other proof of purchase, we may be unable to restore access. We may change what sits in each tier, but will not remove a paid feature you are currently paying for without notice.

Availability and results

The service is provided as-is and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Because processing runs locally, speed and success depend on your device and browser.

Mastering involves judgement. We do not warrant that the output will suit your taste or be accepted by any particular platform — check a master before you release it. Measurements shown in the app are computed to the relevant standards and are informational, not a certification.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data or audio, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending it, changes, and governing law

You can stop using the service at any time; see Refunds & Cancellation. We may suspend access for serious or repeated breach of these terms. We may update these terms, and the date above will change. Swedish law applies and the Swedish courts have jurisdiction; if you are an EU consumer, this does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of your own country.
